Particularly popular with tourists is the small hamlet of Feriolo, an ancient transit station for Roman troops on their way to the Alpine passes, which still retains its characteristic village appearance today of fishermen and stonemasons.

Granite Museum

The GRANUM museum space, housed in a hall of the historic Palazzo Pretorio in Piazza Chiesa, 8, is a multimedia and multisensory information point dedicated to the Pink Granite and its historical importance and economic for the territory of Baveno, also designed to represent the wealth of paths and places of stone working in the territory of Verbano Cusio Ossola.
